Litran Trading Co., Pte Ltd was established in 1979 by a group of professional Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCM) practitioners with the aim of providing the community with premium and natural Chinese medicinal herbs and products. With the ambition of becoming a leading supplier in Chinese medicine, we sourced an array of products in the form of liquid mixtures, granules, tablets, capsules, pills and ointments.

In 1999, Litran Trading was among the first in Singapore to meet the WHO’s GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Standard. With an increasing awareness in TCM, the business picked up and we decided to manufacture our own products locally using proven TCM recipes. Thus, Teda Pharmaceutical (S) Pte Ltd was born in 2003, in partnership with Tianjin Teda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, China.

Shortly after Teda’s establishment, she was the first in Singapore to be awarded the GMP certification for Medicinal Products in 2005 (in compliance with the Pharmaceutical Inspection Convention/Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S) and World Health Organisation (WHO). Our medicinal products are popular and widely supported by TCM practitioners and TCM charity organisations.

With the continuous support from TCM practitioners and customers like you, Teda is even more motivated to better serve your needs. Hence, a quality assurance (QA) management system was implemented to meet and possibly exceed the requirements of ISO 9002 Quality Management System. Furthermore, new technologies and machineries are regularly installed to enhance our effectiveness and efficiency in manufacturing Chinese medicines. In a nutshell, we strongly believe that ‘Health means everything’ and we strive our best to create TCM that are affordable, beneficial and convenient for you!
